Help the kids from Pochuta finish school
This rural company is located in the Pochuta community, Chimaltenango.
The group is made up of 8 women, each of whom has 2 to 3 children. All the children go to school. Children walk about 10 to 15 minutes to get to school.
When mothers decide that their children continue high school, they must send them to another community which is 45 minutes away by bus.
School attendance in this community is very low, but the Wakami children all attend school despite the difficulties.
We have 5 girls and 3 boys who need a scholarship in this community.
